The GenePix family of microarray scanners has been expanded with the GenePix Professional 4200A scanner.

The 4200A sets an even higher standard for microarray instrumentation with its powerful set of new and enhanced features designed for high performance, multispectral imaging and high duty-cycle usage.

The GenePix Professional 4200A benefits from simultaneous four-colour scanning, laser power attenuation, good signal-to-noise performance and scanning resolution between 5 and 100 µm.

The system is compact and designed for high duty-cycle usage. It is suitable for high usage in laboratories and microarray core facilities in academic, biotechnology and pharmaceutical environments.

The GenePix Professional 4200A is powered by the Genepix Pro integrated software package for one-step image acquisition and analysis. The package will find and analyse features of any shape including elliptical, square and arbitrary irregular. It also has additional metrics and visualisation tools for quality control analysis.
