Environmental isolates are shipped to Microbiologics, where Microbiologics confirms the identification, characterises, preserves and manufactures the strain into a quantitative, test-ready to use control format for ongoing QC. As the isolates are preserved at Microbiologics, they can be used to manufacture additional kits as required.
