Agilent Technologies has released a labelling and hybridisation kit that simplifies the protocol for running miRNA-profiling experiments on oligonucleotide microarrays.
The kit contains all the reagents and buffer needed to label and hybridise 24 miRNA microarray experiments. The microarrays are configured with eight experiments per standard 2.5 x 7.5 cm slide, and three slides are included in each kit. This configuration minimises handling and reagent expenditure per experiment, with each experiment requiring just 100 ng total RNA input per labelling reaction.
Agilent’s microarray-based tools for studying miRNAs combine a direct labelling method with a reliable probe design, resulting in a robust, sensitive platform that allows broad insight into expression and regulation of human, mouse and rat miRNAs.
