Navinci’s Naveni Plex allows users to uncover complex protein interactions in the tumour microenvironment. The isPLA multiplex solution is designed to simultaneously detect PD1/PD-L1 interactions, illuminating activated immune checkpoint pathways; CD8/MHC-I interactions, revealing initiation of critical T-cell activation processes; and CD3 presence, tracking a key T-cell marker.

The product allows the user to save time and gain insights as they explore checkpoint signalling and the immune landscape. By easily combining the ready-to-use multiplex isPLA solution with regular immunofluorescence co-stains, workflows can be streamlined and discoveries can be accelerated.

The product enables study of immune evasion, T-cell activation and therapeutic targets all at once — essential for immuno-oncology, autoimmunity and infectious disease research. It can detect protein–protein interactions and individual markers with high sensitivity, specificity and resolution, even in low-expressing, challenging samples.

The understanding of how PD1/PD-L1 interactions inhibit immune responses and how CD8/MHC-I interactions promote cytotoxic activity opens the door to the development of more effective cancer immunotherapies and personalised medicine approaches.
