The AusMedtech national medtech conference, now its sixth year, will for the first time be held in Melbourne in May - and early bird closes 1 March 2013.
AusMedtech 2013 is a medical technology conference for medtech executives, providing business partnering opportunities for decision-makers. It brings together key stakeholders of the Australian and international medical devices and diagnostics sector to discuss the major issues in global medtech success with a focus on emerging markets.
AusMedtech 2013 will be held from 15-16 May at The Sebel in Albert Park Melbourne with the support of the state government of Victoria and will be opened by the Hon Gordon Rich-Phillips MLC, Minister for Technology, Assistant Treasurer and Minister for the Aviation Industry.
The event will feature a comprehensive program and trade exhibition and commence with a briefing session hosted by the Victorian state government on the morning of the first day of conference.
International and interstate companies, and organisations looking to invest or explore commercial opportunities in Victoria, are invited to network with company and research institute representatives and senior policymakers; learn about Victoria’s capabilities across the medical devices and diagnostics sectors; and hear about the Victorian government’s pro-business policies in medical devices.
AusMedtech 2013 will provide information to help attendees plot the course to global success, targeting key commercial issues such as export opportunities, finance and investment, hot technologies and updates in the fields of IP, regulatory approvals, health economics, and reimbursement and sales networks.
