Board changes at Benitec, Ventracor, BioDiem

The management changes at RNAi player Benitec (ASX:BLT) continued yesterday, with the announcement that company secretary Gary Taylor had resigned as a director of the company. Taylor will remain company secretary.
Ventracor (ASX:VCR) has appointed medical devices executive Peter Crosby as chief operating officer. Crosby -- an Australian who has served as CEO of four international medical device companies -- will take on the marketing, sales and distribution of Ventracor's VentAssist device.
BioDiem (ASX:BDM) has appointed former Deutsche Bank executive Andrew O'Brien to its board as a non-executive director. O'Brien headed the Australian healthcare corporate finance at Deutsche Bank, and currently works for consulting firm BioIncyte.
