Thursday, 22 January, 2015

AusBiotech is seeking expressions of interest to join the Australian delegation to the 73rd China International Medical Equipment Fair (CMEF) in May 2015. It is said to be the Asia-Pacific's largest exhibition, with around 2700 exhibitors and 80,000 visitors.

Opportunities now exist for Australian companies and research organisations to participate at the Australian Pavilion at CMEF, to be held in Shanghai, China, from 15-18 May 2015.

CMEF services the entire value chain for the medical devices market. Visitors will include decision-makers, medical doctors, surgeons, procurement specialists from hospitals, distributors and agents of medical equipment and devices, technicians, research institutes and clinical laboratories. Further details regarding the fair can be viewed here.

The Australia Pavilion will offer exhibiting companies more than just an exhibition space - it will provide total support. The recognisable Brand Australia images, shared services, informal meeting areas, meeting rooms and reception counters will ensure you maximise your chances of achieving a successful outcome at this major event.

Gold Package: Member $4750/Non‐Member $6500

Silver Package: Member $2000/Non‐Member $3250

Bronze Package: Member $750/Non‐Member $1125

The delegation to CMEF is to be held immediately prior to Asia Biotech Invest 2015, from 19-21 May in Hong Kong. Timing has been arranged for delegates to be able to travel directly from CMEF to the Hong Kong investment meeting.

Immediately preceding CMEF, Austrade is offering a medical mission to China's Shanghai and Suzhou (12-15 May) and a gala dinner during CMEF (15 May). Australian companies are provided with a tailored program, including one-on-one appointments with targeted potential Chinese partners, site visits to medical establishments and participation in the inaugural Australia-China Medical Forum or the 9th China-Australia Hospital Forum. More information is available here.

AusBiotech is now seeking expressions of interest to attend this major event, with packages at affordable rates for companies interested in taking up the opportunity.
