Last call for companies to assist with 2014 key surveys: metrics from CEOs, manufacturing and medtech in China

Thursday, 13 February, 2014

Three key surveys are in their final weeks as biotech and medtech companies are urged to assist with views and metrics that underpin advocacy efforts and the development of industry resources.

Metrics and views from CEOs

AusBiotech asks industry leaders (company CEOs and MDs) to respond to the annual Biotechnology Industry Position Survey 2014, to contribute to the annual snapshot and build the advocacy platform for the year to come. The survey, once again supported by Grant Thornton, has been posted and emailed to biotechnology company leaders and responses are invited by 24 February 2014.

AusBiotech conducts the confidential survey early each year to formally seek opinions and information from the leaders of the industry it represents, to get a comprehensive view of the Australian biotechnology sector based on industry experience, knowledge, key metrics and political insight.

For a copy of the survey questions, please contact Lorraine Chiroiu (AusBiotech’s communications manager) at lchiroiu@ausbiotech.org or 03 9828 1400.

Annual Global BioManufacturing Study

Companies are invited to participate in the biopharmaceutical industry’s comprehensive study of biomanufacturing to ensure comprehensive Australian coverage. Your input will contribute to BioPlan’s 11th year of this benchmarking global and regional study on trends affecting the biopharmaceutical industry. The study is an authoritative, comprehensive view of the bio-industry and its trends.

Responses are aggregated and confidential, and you need only answer those questions that pertain to your area of expertise. The survey takes between 10-25 min, depending on your areas of expertise, and you will receive a complimentary summary of the study.

Medtech in China

Help AusBiotech shape the most appropriate resources for Australian medical devices and diagnostics companies interested in accessing investment from, or taking their technology to, China. AusBiotech has received funding support from the Australian Trade Commission, under the Asian Century Business Engagement grants scheme, to promote trade with China in medical devices and diagnostics.
