Phosphagenics lands retail deal with David Jones

Phosphagenics (ASX:POH) has signed on David Jones as its newest retail partner for its Elixia range of skincare products.

David Jones now plans to roll out the Elixia range in select stores nationwide over the next two months.

Melbourne-based Phosphagenics said the David Jones deal brings the number of retail outlets carrying the Elixia range to over 600 stockists across Australia.

CEO Dr Esra Ogru said that along with a similar agreement with Myer, “we now have the two largest retail chains in the country endorsing our products.”

Phosphagenics' Elixia brand covers products including a cellulite removal crème, a skin cleansing crème and an anti-aging range. It is also available Priceline and Terry White stores.

The company has also making inroads into the skincare segments of international markets. In April, Phosphagenics signed a deal to license three skin care products to India's Intas Pharmaceuticals. And in March, the company arranged to supply the Elixia range to South Korean distributor the Korean Drug Company.

Phosphagenics (ASX:POH) shares were trading unchanged at $0.180 as of Thursday's close.
