Sleep-disordered breathing treatment company ResMed (ASX:RMD) has launched two new products in its AirFit line of lightweight nasal masks.

The company has introduced the AirFit F10, which it is billing as the lightest compact full-face mask on the market. ResMed said during internal testing, patients preferred the new F10 over its most popular full-face masks.

ResMed has also launched the AirFit N10, a compact nasal mask that weighs less than 85 g. The mask is supported by an under-eye frame that does not obstruct line of sight.

Both new masks come in multiple sizes and are also available in For Her versions designed specifically for female patients’ anatomy. Both products use ResMed’s SoftEdge headgear.

“These new masks embody the AirFit brand, which is all about providing patients with lightweight, comfortable and trusted solutions for treating their sleep-disordered breathing,” ResMed Vice President Jon Yerbury said. “We know that if the mask isn’t right, nothing else matters; mask comfort is the key to staying on therapy.”

ResMed launched the AirFit P10 nasal pillow mask around the start of the year and won a Red Dot award for the product earlier this month.

ResMed (ASX:RMD) shares were trading 0.3% higher at $5.035 as of around 1 pm on Tuesday.
