TGR’s Crouch wins BioBusiness award
Monday, 30 March, 2009
The chief scientific officer of Adelaide’s TGR BioSciences, Dr Michael Crouch, has won the annual Advancing BioBusiness Award.
Part of the prize is a trip to the BIO convention in Atlanta, Georgia, this May.
The award is funded by pharma company Merck Sharp & Dohme and the expat organisation Advance.
TGR makes a range of cell-based assays for use in automated systems. Crouch said he hoped to advance his contacts with the pharmaceutical industry and explore new partnerships to develop bio-markers to assist the university and research institute sector as well as pharma and biotech.
