Trounson hasn't resigned: NSCC
Tuesday, 05 August, 2003
Prof Alan Trounson has not resigned from the National Stem Cell Centre, contrary to a report in today's The Australian newspaper.
Not only has he not resigned, he is on the verge of being given additional responsibilities, according to NSCC chairman Bob Moses.
Today's newspaper report said Trounson had resigned from the NSCC "last night".
In fact, he resigned as CEO of the centre a week ago to become its global science strategic advisor, with a focus on expanding the centre's international relationships and influence.
