Lastek represents LaVision
Monday, 09 July, 2001
Lastek has been appointed the representative of LaVision for Australia and New Zealand.
LaVision produces imaging spectroscopy systems, CCD and ICCD cameras. It's product range includes integrated optical diagnostic systems for applications in combustion research, flow diagnostics, plasma spectroscopy, materials and lifesciences.
The company also provides customer-specific turn-key systems. These can consist of lasers, cameras, spectrographs, microscopes, sample chambers, optical components, auxilary light sources, software as well as support during all phases of the project.
The CCD-based camera systems and optical diagnostic systems use advances in detector and measurement technologies as well as software tools.
LaVision's Data Acquisition and Visualization software (DaVis) combines control of optoelectronic devices with automated data acquistion, processing, storage and display. Flexible acquisition sequences allow measurements ranging from imaging and spectroscopy, including Laser Induced Fluorescence (LIF), Raman and Fluorescence Lifetime, to Particle Imaging Velocimetry (PIV).
Lastek's focus on providing laser, spectroscopic and photonic technology solutions will be enhanced by its partnership with LaVisision.
