Contaminant-free barrier tips

Mirella Research has released an extended range of Precision Barrier Tips for life sciences.

Precision Barrier Tips are suitable for molecular biology applications such as PCR as they feature inert, hydrophobic barriers that prevent pipettor contamination. The tips have aerosol barriers that will not trap liquid or contaminate samples in the event of over-pipetting and include a locking ring to ensure reliable barrier placement.

Designed to fit all major research-grade pipettors, the tips are manufactured using precise production techniques that provide consistent quality performance. The primary products are made from virgin polymers and contain no recycled, reprocessed or altered plastics that might introduce contamination or defects.

Every lot of product can be traced to the corresponding raw materials and production date. The following certification information is available on request: RNase/DNase-free; human DNA and PCR inhibitor-free; non-pyrogenic; sterility, validated using Method 1 guidelines of AAMI; and all products are manufactured in an ISO 9001 certified facility.
