DNA and protein gel stain

GelRed is a red fluorescent nucleic acid dye designed to replace the highly toxic ethidium bromide (EB) for gel staining.

Because GelRed and EB have almost the same spectra, EB can be replaced with GelRed, without having to change the existing imaging system. It can be used for either post gel staining or precast gel staining and is available at 10,000x in H2O for better safety and the convenience of room temperature storage.

GelGreen is a green fluorescent gel stain with the sensitivity of SYBR Green I and can be excited by a laser-based gel scanner or a Dark Reader. GelGreen can be stored at room temperature.

Lumitein Protein Gel Stain is a luminescent dye for detecting protein in polyacrylamide gels. As well as1 ng or less sensitivity, UV and VIS excitation, photostability and a linear detection range of at least three orders of magnitude, Lumitein has a fast, simple 90 min fix and stain process with low background that is compatible with downstream protein analysis.
