High Precision Balance

The Ohaus Adventurer is a versatile, affordable, high-precision balance that offers laboratory users an economical way to perform a variety of functions.

It can be used for basic weighing, environmental testing, plant pathology and forensic testing. Suitable for a wide range of laboratory applications, the Adventurer offers 17 different weighing modes including grams, kilograms, milligrams, ounces, mommes, (3) taels and parts counting. Its simple three-button operation and large LCD combine to make the balance easy to use, and eliminate the need for extensive operator training.

Calibration is also simple - just place a weight on the pan, press a button and the balance does the rest. To tare, just place a container on the pan, push a button to reset the display to zero and add the sample. Large left and right tare buttons facilitate easy left or right handed operation.

Adventurer offers a standard RS-232 interface, facilitating easy communication with computers and other peripheral devices. The integrated weigh-below hook simplifies below-balance weighing applications including density determination, and an ergonomic levelling system makes setup easy.

Engineered to stand up to rugged use, Adventurer features a durable contoured base, a contoured top and spill gutters to direct spills away from the display. The product's sealed one-piece function label is easy to clean and protects internal components from harm.

Adventurer is available in capacities ranging from 150 to 4100 g and readabilities from 1 mg to 0.1 g, 150 g and 310 g models come equipped with a glass draft shield.
