LIMS upgrade

LabWare LIMS v6 is the foundation application in LabWare’s fully integrated LIMS solution suite, which offers built-in instrument interfacing and a broad range of functional modules. Under the flexible Labware licensing scheme, users may leverage the v6 application to meet needs across their entire enterprise including everything from comprehensive sample management and automated data acquisition to inventory tracking, environmental monitoring, customer contact management, shelf-life stability study management, clinical protocol set-up and control, biorepository and storage resource management, among many others. The system is equally well suited to quality control and quality assurance as well as research and development settings and continues LabWare’s emphasis on user configurability, negating the need for complex programming and application customisation. 

LabWare LIMS v6 serves as the foundation application of the LabWare system, and the company’s architecture enables the user to deploy the user interface as a completely browser-based solution, or via a thin-client model on the Microsoft Windows platform. Hybrid deployments combining multiple architectures are also possible.

As with every prior release version of LabWare LIMS, existing users benefit from a simple and fully automated process to upgrade to the v6 release, with complete preservation of their existing configuration. This ease of transition is a key reason why virtually all LabWare customers operate the current release version of the LabWare LIMS application.

When implemented as a fully browser-based solution, the LabWare LIMS v6 application is deployed in conjunction with LabWare’s WebLIMS presentation layer to deliver a true zero-footprint solution and the richest available user interface.
