TSI Incorporated has a data logging handheld micromanometer that accurately measures pressure, and calculates velocity and flow rate (CFM, m3/h, L/s) from a Pitot tube.

The Model 8705 micromanometer uses a diaphragm-based pressure transducer that provides accurate, stable readings regardless of the orientation of the meter. The wide range of -1245 to +3735 Pascals is suitable to measure static or velocity pressure in supply and exhaust ductwork, as well as pressure drops across fans, filters, and coils. The Model 8705 has single point and continuous data logging that stores up to 1000 points of data.

Each micromanometer includes free software to download data to an IBM-compatible computer. Once downloaded, the data can be used for analysis and to generate reports, saving time and reducing potential transcript errors.

In addition, the DP-CALC automatically corrects the nominal velocity measured with a Pitot tube to either actual or standard velocity, and calculates statistics such as the minimum, maximum, and average.
