Paperless Recorder

The Eco-Graph paperless recorder features 3 or 6 channel universal analogue inputs with two alarm setpoints per channel, four control/event inputs and three freely configurable output relays as well as RS-232 and RS-485 communication protocols. Each universal input can accept 0-20, 4-20 mA, all standard voltages, RTDs, and thermocouples. Additionally, the three channel version can be ordered with a further three loop powering channels with Hart communication. The Eco-graph can also be configured to integrate the analogue inputs on each of the six channels to display and log totalised values.

The 127 mm colour graphic display can be programmed to show alarm setpoints and events (eg, power failures, alarm conditions, etc), event messages and additional channel information such as tag numbers, engineering units etc.

A quick setup function and automatic signal detection simplifies the configuration process. This automatic signal detection function not only reduces setup time but also makes sensor replacement easier. The setup process is menu driven, activated via the front panel buttons and complemented by an intuitive built-in operating manual. The user selects the measurement type and the engineering unit required and then sets the scaling.

Setup can also be executed using the ReadWin operating software, which is included with the Eco-graph. Channel parameters can be quickly copied to other channels and channel configuration downloaded using the Eco-Graph's internal diskette drive. ReadWin also allows the user to dial-in remotely from a GSM or analogue modem, giving access to real-time values, and the ability to download archived data.

The unit offers a fully adjustable feed rate from 5 to 1000 mm/h and stores the equivalent of up to 89 m of paper worth of data in its 2 Mb internal memory. The Eco-graph monitors the amount of storage memory available and alerts the user when the memory or diskette approaches the full level.
