Stereo Fluorescence Attachment

The STFL2 Stereomicroscope fluorescence attachment can be retrofitted to Nikon Stereomicroscope systems SMZ-U, SMZ800, SMZ-10A and SMZ-10.

The STFL2 epi-fluorescence attachment is designed to fit below the binocular body or phototube of a research stereo microscope and to hold an arc illuminator on the right side, conveniently angled away from the operator.

The ergonomic filter changer holds up to three filter sets. A supplementary filter slider is positioned above the fluorescence filter changer. This feature allows for the insertion of long wavelength cut-off filters to help reduce background auto-fluorescence and 'crosstalk' in double-labelled specimens.

Available filter sets include: GFP and its variants - Blue, Topaz (Yellow), Cyan and Sapphire; FITC; Rhodamine; Dapi; Texas Red; and Multi-label.
