The IUCr is a scientific union adhering to the International Science Council (ISC). Since the first IUCr general assembly in 1948, this triennial congress has been a premier exchange of crystallographic ideas. The 26th Congress will be held in Melbourne, Australia, in August 2023.
In 2023 the IUCr Congress and General Assembly will be hosted by the Society of Crystallographers in Australia and New Zealand. SCANZ is an organisation whose members are scientists whose interest is in the general area of crystallography.
