IKA’s RV 10 digital V-C rotary evaporators are suitable for DIN EN 12697-3 (asphalt test for hot asphalt). They come with the integrated heating bath HB 10 digital (3 L) including space-saving coated glassware (1 L), a cooling surface of 1200 cm² and a push-off mechanism to loosen tightly fitting pistons. The units are equipped with a motorised lift (stroke 140 mm), which lifts the evaporator piston out of the heating bath if a power disruption occurs.

Safe and simple operation is provided through an ergonomically shaped operator unit in the front area. The product moves right and left in interval operation for the drying process and heats up quickly because of optimised bath volumes. The digitally displayed speed ranges from 20 to 280 rpm.

The digital water-oil heating bath includes an adjustable safety circuit, integrated carry handles with safe handling and a pivoting safety hood as an accessory. It can also be used in standalone operation. The temperature control of the bath can be adjusted by a microcontroller and the infrared interface enables data transfer from the bath to the drive unit.

The digital rotary evaporator features a digital temperature display and an RS232 interface for PC automatic remote operation with the lab software labworldsoft. A control version with an integrated vacuum controller, USB interface and graphics-capable display is available for fully automated distilling processes.

Interval operation for optimal mixing, a smooth start from 100 rpm for a safe increase in speed, adjustable end position recognition to protect against the glass breaking and a timer function for time lapse controls complete the safety package.
