Beckman Coulter HemosIL D-Dimer HS 500 fully automated latex-based immunoassay method

The HemosIL D-Dimer HS 500 fully automated latex-based immunoassay method can be used for the determination of D-Dimer in human citrated plasma, in conjunction with a clinical pretest probability (PTP) assessment model to exclude venous thromboembolism (VTE) in outpatients suspected of deep venous thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE).

The assay optimises laboratory workload by offering a liquid ready-to-use product with results in <5 min. The assay will reduce any unnecessary imaging techniques as it is said to offer the best sensitivity and specificity of any assay available.
