Bio-Rad Laboratories QX600 Droplet Digital PCR System
Bio-Rad Laboratories is looking to accelerate measurable residual disease (MRD) research through its QX600 Droplet Digital PCR System. The product features six-colour detection capable of quantifying 12 targets per well, a simple user workflow and powerful data analysis.
Maintaining Bio-Rad’s ddPCR technology, the platform utilises the same droplet generation and processing protocols as the company’s QX200 system, enabling current customers to easily adopt its advanced multiplexing capabilities. Combining high multiplexing power with the sensitivity and absolute quantification of ddPCR technology should allow users to obtain high volumes of quality clinical research data without burdening patients, driving precision medicine forward.
The system will bring advanced multiplexing and sensitivity to molecular oncology investigators engaged in everything from biomarker discovery to clinical trials and patient monitoring of MRD. It is expected to drive the development of novel, multiplexed assays that were not possible before.
