Thermo Scientific’s Multiskan FC microplate photometer product line has new features for enhanced usability.

Designed to process both 96- and 384-well microplates, the Multiskan FC can be controlled as a standalone instrument or via the Thermo Scientific SkanIt Software. The large colour screen of the device combined with the simple and logical internal software ensures good usability and easy assay set-up.

Results can be directly transferred to a USB memory stick for further analysis. Alternatively, the highly visual and logical user interface of SkanIt Software for PC control makes assay set-up and data handling for both research and routine applications simple.

The Multiskan FC has a 340–850 nm wavelength range, on-board shaking and optional incubator, which make it suitable for a wide variety of photometric applications such as end point, dual wavelength and kinetic assays.

The unit has a comprehensive range of built-in and optional verification and self-diagnostic tools. It also features in-built self-diagnostics tools and an auto-calibration feature.
