Nanosonics has been granted approval by the Therapeutic Goods Administration to market its Trophon EPR device.
The device disinfects ultrasound probes and is aimed at hospitals, specialists and radiology clinics.
It has received earlier approval in the EU, Canada and New Zealand and is awaiting approval from the US FDA.
Polartechnics has signed agreements in Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia and Sri Lanka for its TruScreen and CerviScreen diagnostics.
TruScreen is a point-of-care test for HPV while CerviScreen is a self-administered test.
Listed lab consumables company Fluorotechnics has changed its trading name to Gel Company. Its ASX name will remain the same.
