The Mabtech EYRA, developed by life science tools company Mabtech in collaboration with research and technology specialist Qamcom, is a no-contact, automation-ready multiplex platform based on a purpose-built confocal microscope. Suitable for use with Mabtech’s EYRAplex analyte kits, the platform is a powerful tool developed for researchers in the global arena driving innovation in immunology and antibody-based vaccine and drug development.

The product’s intuitive user interface and automated data acquisition and analysis software are designed to streamline efficiency, workflow and reproducibility of data, reducing the time to analyse results and offering ease of use. Standard solutions using flow cytometry devices typically require extensive, time-consuming manipulation, preparation, clean-up and shutdown; by contrast, the no-contact EYRA read-out machine provides a ‘push start and walk away’ solution, with no star-up, shutdown, calibration procedures or waste.

Developed for use cases across the drug development value chain, the product provides a one-stop shop for research teams in a user-friendly, complete platform including advanced software, a benchmark reader instrument, and robust analysis kits to enable fast, precise results. The image-based reader can analyse 40 analytes simultaneously at picogram levels in a single well, using high-quality image scanning for results in only 12 min per 96-well plate. It can run 24/7, with automatic output of publication-ready data.
