Protein gel stain

Lumitein Protein Gel Stain is a luminescent dye designed for detecting proteins in polyacrylamide gels with the following features:

  • Highly sensitive - at least as sensitive as silver stain by detecting <1 ng protein.
  • Extremely simple and fast - fixation and staining in a single 30- or 90-min combined step followed by a simple rinse in water.
  • Very low background.
  • Excellent instrument compatibility - can be used with either a simple 300 nm UV Box (EtBr filter), a Dark Reader, or a high-end laser scanner.
  • Wide linear detection range - at least three orders of magnitude.
  • Perfect compatibility with downstream analysis - compatible with MS and sequencing.
  • Highly stable - stable at room temperature.
