First elected female president of Academy of Science
10 May, 2010Distinguished cancer researcher Professor Suzanne Cory has been elected by her peers as President of the Australian Academy of Science - an institution that has been dominated by male scientists since its formation in 1954. As the first elected female president, she takes over the role from Professor Kurt Lambeck.
